AIDS or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome is a sort of disease that attacks our system of immunity and weakens it from within. It takes away your capability of fighting other diseases, putting your body at the risk of getting damaged easily. This disease became apparent from the early 1980s and now it has taken the proportion of epidemic in many countries. Both heterosexual and homosexual people get affected by this disease through sexual intercourse and blood transfusion. There is a misconception that only the gay people get inflicted by this disease but this notion is baseless.

A lot of people believe in the theory of evolution. There is a lot of speculation going on regarding the theory of evolution that Charles Darwin talked about first. There is evidence that establishes that the theory of evolution is not baseless. According to Charles Darwin a being or organism transforms into another organism due to mutation of genes. This is a slow process that occurs over centuries. The human genes are a lot similar to the DNA of the chimpanzees. This shows that both chimpanzees and humans have originated from a common ancestor. All the Darwinian theories regarding evolution may not be accurate but scientific evidence of fossils have led people to believe in evolution.

Superstitions have born out of the human attempt to relate effects with causes. Humans have always tried to explain the incidents around them or find out the reasons for an occurrence. Science has explained many things but there is a lot more that has been left unexplained. Every day we go through many different sorts of experience. Some of the experiences like a sudden accident or a surprising windfall make us wonder why it happened. Superstitions are the easy route people take for coming to terms with a surprising event they can’t explain in any other way.

In the beginning of human civilization, the faith in gods originated from fear. Humans were trying to tame the nature for their own benefit yet could not understand many of the natural phenomena. Science had not advanced and the rays of knowledge have not touched the minds of men and women. The natural phenomena like rain, sun, rivers, and death were explained by the religion. They invented gods for different natural resources. At first the gods did not look similar to a human and had the attributes of ferocious animals. Later on, from the advent of Greek civilization, gods started looking like humans as people had become more confident about their own identity.

Crying is not a trait limited to women alone. Men too have tear ducts and until puberty men and women cry almost the same amount of tears when in pain or when feeling sad. It has been observed that women cry more frequently than men. Crying is an expression of intense emotions. Though it has been related mostly with grief, even a feeling of intense happiness can make tears well up in your eyes. There are many reasons behind a girl’s tears. Some say that it is the hormone prolactin which is responsible for making women cry. Though this hormone is present both in men and women, it has been found in greater quantity in women’s blood and tears.

However, whether we should wear clothes or not was decided only when Adam ate that prohibited fruit of knowledge. Well, that’s a fact supported by religion only, while many people may consider it bogus. But that surely doesn’t mean we can negate the fact altogether, since it’s only the sense that makes us wear clothes. Otherwise, why animals don’t bother wearing clothes?
