A certain whim of some people can take an aggressive turn and destroy many innocent lives if not checked at origination. Human rights protect humans from humans and ensure that they are secure. The International Human Right Laws came into being in 1945 when the violence of the Nazis on the Jews shook the world and made it clear that without some strict international, protective laws no man under the sun is safe. Human rights clearly state the birth rights that every human possesses and prevents people from trampling on the faith or rights of others.

Society has been created to help the prosperity of mankind and to protect it. It is human nature to crave power over its contemporaries. The power lust of men knows no bound and that is why we need some social tools that can effectively protect humans from each other. Democracy is one such social tool that protects the rights of citizens and doesn’t let a government overpower the populace. Every country has some responsibilities towards its residents. By birth the citizens acquire some rights, like equal working opportunity, education, nutrition and individual opinions. Without democracy such birth rights will become subjugated by some higher authoritarian figure.

As we have been chosen by nature to survive and thrive, it is our humanitarian duty to help the different flora and fauna species survive and keep the balance in nature intact. Animal shelters are our way to do our bit in taking care of innocent animals like dogs and cats. Often these animals are homeless and lose their keepers. In such cases they are sometimes abandoned at the street side and do not know how to procure food. Animal shelters provide living space and security to the abandoned or stray animals along with food and care.
